Commitment
We are deeply committed to the environment and to society. For this reason, absolutely all our processes have been designed and reviewed to comply with the most demanding sustainability standards. But we're non-conformists by nature, so our commitment doesn't end here.
We know very well how far our responsibility with the environment and with people goes. For this reason, we do everything in our power to reduce Three Hills Sustainable Brand's carbon footprint and preserve the most precious asset of all: the Earth.
Sustainability certifications
Our production processes are framed within the most important sustainability standards today. We manufacture clothing items that meet the requirements set by benchmark entities in the field of sustainable fashion:
● Fair Wear Foundation: an association that firmly believes that there is a better way to produce clothing, more sustainable, more ethical. They are especially focused on analyzing and improving the cutting, trimming and sewing processes.
They evaluate their member companies from three different levels: globally and strategically, analyzing factory conditions and actively listening to workers.
● GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard): certifies independently and with ecological and social criteria the textile processing of organic fibers carried out by its associates. To do this, it analyzes everything from the chemical products they use to the way they manage labor.
● PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals): a global organization that fights for the rights and welfare of animals. It does so, specifically, from the four areas that cause the most suffering: the food industry, the textile trade, work in laboratories and the entertainment business.
● OEKO-TEX: brings together 18 independent research institutes from Europe and Japan, which examine the processes of member organizations and verify the degree of compliance with their six standards: MADE IN GREEN, STANDARD 100, LEATHER STANDARD, STeP, DETOX TO ZERO and ECO PASSPORT.
Environmentally friendly screen printing
Through screen printing, we print on our clothing the messages, shapes, images and colors that represent us and that we are sure you will love. But this is not a process without negative effects on the environment.
To reduce them, we have opted for a much more respectful method with nature.
We commissioned the silk-screen prints from a workshop belonging to the Association of Sustainable Fashion of Spain (AMSE). They are in charge of carrying out the process in an artisan way. They use water-based inks, which do not contain heavy metals, PVC, or phthalates and
whose pigments are of mineral and vegetable origin and have not been tested on animals.
sustainable packaging
Our products reach your hands wrapped in paper and cardboard from sustainable forests. What does this mean? That its management allows the correct regeneration and conservation of resources indefinitely over time.
The existence and promotion of these forests and their more sustainable management is a guarantee for the maintenance of biodiversity and contributes to reducing greenhouse gases. In addition, these forests are economically attractive and their exploitation is an incentive for the rural population.
